Moravian Womens' Association (MWA)
This organisation aims to unite women of all ages in the Province in closer fellowship with one another and in the wider service of God.
The membership meets on a monthly basis in local groups called Circles. The groups share and discuss a common devotional paper and news from around the world and have an opportunity to socialise with each other. Each year the membership raises money for Moravian and non-Moravian projects and charities in an effort to look beyond the confines of our own communities to the wider needs of the world.
The whole membership has the opportunity to meet once a year in the Spring at our MWA Day. This day is a chance to share fellowship, worship and participate in a variety of workshops. These events are usually hosted by the members of the MWA in their congregations or Circles. A retreat is usually held once a year giving members an opportunity to really deepen their faith.
All women, young and old are warmly invited to attend Circle meetings and the annual MWA Day. Women can also join as Associate members and receive an edited version of the papers through the post.
Every month we publish discussional papers.

Dear Sisters,
SAVE THE DATE!
Today you get the first information about the next
European Women’s Conference 2026!
The conference will take place from 14th of May – 18th of May 2026 (Thursday, (Ascension Day) till Monday) in High Leigh Christian Conference Centre in Hoddesdon. Hertfordshire, UK. This is north of London. There are 60 places for all sisters. The cost for the whole conference (excluding travel) is currently £484. Each sister gets a single room. You are also welcome to share a room, but the price remains the same as it is a delegate rate to include your meals and accommodation. You are responsible for travelling to the conference.
We have invited Rt Rev Rhoinde Doth, newly elected bishop from the Netherlands, as our keynote speaker.
The registration procedure will be slightly different this time. We want to remove the restriction for England, the Netherlands and Germany and you will register via a specific online link. More details will be announced later. If you would like to receive a copy of the registration link please contact jane.carter@moravian.org.uk
The theme of the conference will follow the lead of the Moravian Women’s Association theme – “Jesus the Storyteller”.
We look forward to seeing you next year!
