The Lord answered Job, ‘Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? and said to the sea, ‘Thus far shall you come and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stopped.’

Jesus got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a dead calm. They were amazed, saying, ‘What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?’      Matthew 8:26-27
