Br Daniel and Sr Sharon Steele celebrated 20 years of marriage with a rededication of marriage vows. The church was packed, and guests arrived in 1950 vintage bus. Br John Muncaster, son of our former minister, was received into membership with the right hand of fellowship reception on Sunday 14th September.

Here in Lower Wyke, when 13th September dawned, the Heritage exhibition was prepared and so were the activities for the Family Fun Day. For the last few years, we have discovered that running the two events side by side has proved successful as visitors flow between one and the other.

Winter wishes at Dukinfield, Cheshire The Outreach team at Dukinfield are looking ahead to the Winter to support the community. Bedding for 40 single beds has been collected and passed to Tameside Social Services to be given to families to help children get a good night’s sleep during the cold winter months.

Summer is now behind us, and the leaves are turning on the trees. This week in church we will be celebrating our ‘Harvest Festival’, with our donations being offered to the local food bank.
