Over the past year we have enjoyed our usual services and activities. We hosted a Christian Aid Lunch, which was a great success raising £300, a far more enjoyable way of supporting that charity than collecting envelopes. We hosted the Dance Class Presentation Service and welcomed a full Church for the occasion,
During the summer months we have had two of our annual social events which are always very popular and enjoyed by all ages. The first of these is our Summer Fete which was held at the end of June in the nursery garden next to the church.
Following on from Count Zinzendorf (August Messenger) we welcomed another distinguished visitor to the Close recently, a descendant of Count Reuss (buried in our vaults). Sr Naomi Hancock
Sadly, Br Denzil Cummins has died at the age of one hundred and one. Before he retired to live in Antigua we at Harold Road were blessed to have him as part of our congregation for many years.
Sr Sharon Steel was put back on the membership roll. Br Daniel Steel was received into membership by the right hand of fellowship. During the service we often have a hymn with actions shown on our large screen which we follow jumping up in the air, bending down and arms wide young and old do all the actions.
