Leicester Moravian Church

Meetings held at Wesley Hall Methodist Church
Mere Road, Leicester LE2 0GN

Welcome to the webpage of the Leicester Moravian Church.

Open to all – Closed to none – Celebrating God’s love

Services

We would love to see you at our services, which take place on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sunday of every month at 2.30pm. We are a multi-generational and a multicultural church. We celebrate the input that people of all ages and all backgrounds bring to worship. Our services vary in style but together we celebrate being church and God’s love for all.

On the 2nd Sunday we usually have a joint service with the Methodist congregation at 10.45am.

History

Since the 1960s the Leicester Moravian congregation has worshipped at Wesley Hall Methodist Church. It has become a congregation in its own right in 1976.

Sunday School and Monday-Saturday activities

Currently we do not have a Sunday school, but do provide a space for parents and toddlers who we welcome into the service as active participants. We have regular events such as annual dinners, coffee mornings, outings to the seaside, sponsored walks, music events etc and are open to new ideas of ways of developing our fellowship and discipleship.
