Background
Established in 1838 after over a century of Moravian activity in West Yorkshire, Horton Moravian Church has a congregation which includes people of all ages from in and around the local area.
Services
• Sundays from 10.30-11.30 – Family Worship
The traditional Moravian Lovefeast and Communion service takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month, and Family Communion on the 4th Sunday of any month with five Sundays
Children’s Activities
• Sundays from 10.20 to 11.30 – Junior Church for all ages
• Second Monday of the month from 6.15 to 7.45 (except August) – ‘Lively Lambs’ Group for ages 6 to 12
Activities and games based around themes such as ‘peace’
Women’s Activities
• Tuesdays from 2.00 to 3.30 (Sep to Apr) – Women’s Fellowship
A variety of speakers on various topics as well as social activities
• Second Wednesday of the month from 2.00 to 3.30 – Moravian Women’s Association (MWA)
A national Women’s Group with branches across the country
Other Activities
• Fridays from 10.30 to 12.00 (term time only) – Bible Study
• Also occasional social events as advertised
